Lions XII Stand Away From Kelantan FA


The Lions XII  from Singapore returned to the top of the Super League table after beating Sarawak 3-0 in the only Super League fixture of the day at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore Tuesday.

The win, the team's 13th in 22 matches gave coach V.Sundramoorthy's team 44 points, seven ahead of Kelantan who have played six matches less.

Lions XII centreback Safuan Baharuddin opened the score as early as the 6th minute while striker Agu Casmir scored a brace in the 36th minite and 64th minute to ensure his team all three points.

The loss meant Sarawak remained in 8th spot with 23 points after 18 matches.
